Congratulations: To Birdhill National school on their victory in the Cumann na mBunscol Under 11 County final in Semple Stadium last Thursday. Well done to all the players, their mentors James Mc Keogh and Pa Floyd and to the teachers who encourage and promote active participation in sport. Final score Birdhill N.S. 5.04 Gaelscoil Carrick 1.07.

Well done: To our U 14 footballers who gave a fine display of football in the North championship final and were in hard luck to be defeated by Portroe by three points. Final score Tulach Sheasta 2.04 Portroe 4.01 Well done to both teams on a fantastic game of football.


Congratulations to Shaun Bonfield who has been selected to play for Tipperary in the primary games at half time in the Cork/Tipperary Munster Football semi-final in Cork on June 10th. The club and players wish him all the luck!

Senior Hurling: Our senior hurlers were defeated by Roscrea in the County Championship last Saturday in Toomevara. Final score Roscrea 1-17 Tulach Sheasta 1-11.
