  • Both of our under 12 hurling teams had two games in the past week v Templederry and Ballina.  The Newport Gaels team were very unlucky to lose both of their games by the narrowest of margins while the  Mulcair Rovers won both of their games. Our Newport Gales have no game this week and our Mulcair Rovers team are at home v Toomevara this Friday evening June 19th.
  • Our under 14's had a busy week. They were beaten by Silvermines in the North Hurling Championship last Wednesday evening. They played Kilsheelan in the county football semi-final on Saturday but unfortunately lost out after putting in a superb performance. They play Lorrha /Shannon Rovers Gaels this evening in Lacken Park @ 7:30 in the north hurling championship.
  • Our under 16 Footballers are due to play their Football County semi final next week v the winners of the South Final which is due to be played this Thursday evening.
