  • Congratulations to Natalie O'Donoghue of Stonehall, Newport who won the draw held last Friday evening for the 2 All Ireland Hurling Final tickets.
  • Our under 6,7 & 8 hurlers took part in a blitz last Saturday morning in Murroe and all our teams put in fantastic performances and really enjoyed their morning's hurling.
  • The Under 10’s are taking part in The John Joe Nevin Tourament in Ballina next Sunday morning Sept 13th @ 11:00 AM.
  • Our under 13 Hurlers had a good win over Nenagh in the first round of the The North Tipp Plate Competition last Wednesday evening and are away to Toomevara this Saturday evening Sept 12th @ 5:00 PM in the next round of the competition.
  • The Under 14 hurlers took part in the Adare Tourament last Saturday and had a fantastic day's hurling. They were beaten by Charleville in the Semi Final by a last minute goal and went on to win the Shield Final where they recorded an 8 point victory over Ardfert from Kerry.
  • Our Under 16 Hurlers put in a great performance in their North Tipp Hurling Semi Final last Monday evening away to Borrisokane but unfortunately lost out in the end on a scoreline of 3:12 to 3:10. Well done to all the players and mentors for all the work you have put in this year.
  • The best of luck to our minor hurlers in The North Semi Final v Toomevara this Wednesday evening Sept 9th in Dolla at 6:00 PM. Your support for the team would be greatly appreciated.

All Ireland.
The club would like to commiserate with the Tipperary minors and management on their loss to Galway last Sunday, a special word of congratulations to Davy Gleeson who performed admirably on the day and who knows if he had got a better supply of ball the result might have been different. Let's hope he can produce the goods on Wed evening in the North semi against Toomevara.

Junior Football.
Our footballers finished level with Ballina in the North championship on Wed evening last. This was a game we should have won but some poor finishing in front of goal proved costly. Who knows what the result would have been if all players were made available to the team. The club would like to thank all players who made the effort to attend.

Upcoming event.
Date For Diary: Keep Sat 10th of October free for the club's "Night at the Dogs" in Limerick Greyhound stadium. This has proved to be a great Family night out in the past . More details next week.

Lotto:  there was no winner of the club lotto so next weeks jackpot will be €5900.

Sympathy.
The club would like to express its sympathy to the Ahern family, Bunkey, on their recent bereavement. John was a great supporter of the club. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
