Senior Scór
Congratulations to our Senior Ballad and Instrumental Music Groups who were victorious in the Munster Final held in Ovens, Co Cork last Saturday. They now go on to represent Newport, Tipperary and Munster in the All Ireland Final which will be held in the City West Hotel on the 25th of April. Teresa Galvin, Marie Floyd, Fiona Ryan, Lorna Floyd and Conor Floyd are members of the Ballad Group while the members of the Instrumental Music Group are Aine O'Malley, Niamh Floyd, Louise Ryan, Ruairi Floyd and Brian Mc Auliffe. It proved to be a great night for Tipperary with victory also in the Solo Singing and Recitation while the Figure Dancers and Set Dancers were unlucky to lose out. Anyone interested in tickets and accomodation for the All Ireland should contact Anthony Floyd immediately so as not to be disappointed.
