Community Games:

Congratulations to Newport Community Games U10 footballers who had a fantastic extra time win v Morcarkey/Borris in the County final in Semple Stadium on Bank Holiday Monday last. They now go on to represent Tipperary in the Munster Finals to be held in UL

on July 4th. Well done to all the players who played brilliantly and brought back the county title to Newport for the first since 1994.


Under 12:

Our U12’s commenced their hurling championship last Friday evening with both teams playing Portroe. Newport Gaels had a good win while our Mulcair Rovers team lost by a goal. They have a busy week ahead of them with both teams having a home game this

Friday evening June 12th v Ballina. Next Monday evening June 15th Newport Gaels

team travel to Lorrha and Mulcair Rovers team are away to Kildangan.


Under 14:

Our U14’s hurlers won their first match v Portroe last Wednesday and are away to the Silvermines this Wednesday evening, June 10th. Our U14’s are also due to play their

county football semi-final v Kilsheelan this week. A date & venue were not available

at time of going to press.


UL Annual Fun Day:

UL Annual Fun Day for U6 to 12 age groups takes place this Saturday June 13th from 10am to 3pm with a very exciting list of activities lined up for the children to be entertained.


Juvenile Club BBQ:

The Juvenile Club would like to invite all parents of children i & adult members of the club to our BBQ this Saturday June 13th in Lees Bar from 9pm with music also on the night.


Cul Camp:

Bookings are now being taken for the Cul Camp which takes place from August 10th to 14th. You can book online on the Cul Camp website, www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie. We would advise parents to book as soon as possible so that we can ensure that the Cul Camp gear

is available for the camp.


Church Gate Collection:
