North Champs
Our Inter Hurlers won the Hewitt Cup on Sunday with a comfortable victory over Ballinahinch. This was a game that was long over as a contest before half time. Well done to all involved. We now play Lattin Cullen Gaels on Sat next in Dundrum in the Prelim Quarter Final.

The club will be running a Dog Night at Limerick Greyhound Track on Sat November 1st. There are nominators available to purchase for €50. Entry on the night is €10, so please purchase your tickets from club members for entry on the night.

Juvenile
Well done to the Newport Under 11's who had great success last weekend in the Burgess tournament. Having qualified for the final the previous weekend, they played Burgess in a hotly contested game last Saturday. An exciting first half saw Newport in the lead at half time, a goal and a point up. In the second half Burgess showed their great club form and pulled the game back to level scores half way through. However, undaunted by the resurgence, the Newport Boys and Girls dug in and put four more scores on the board before full time was called. After a tough year it was a victory greatly enjoyed by all the squad.
