Easter Camp
On the 22nd of April Newport Juvenile GAA Club commencing hosting our annual Easter Camp for primary school children in Lacken Park, Newport.  The camp which ran over 3 days was attended by 105 children who all thoroughly enjoyed the skills training and games which were played.  At the end of the camp each child received a Gaelic football and sliotar.  The Juvenile club would like to thank all the coaches and volunteers who helped our over the three days to make this camp one of the biggest and best in Tipperary.

Junior Hurling
Our juniors overcame Ballinahinch on Friday last in Shallee on a score line of 3-16 to 3-7. Kieran Doheny helped himself to 2 goals and was always a threat. Richard Shinnors was a giant at centre back and full back and captain Mark Harrington helped himself to 2 points. Well done to all.

Minor Football
The minors recorded a big win over Ballina in the Park last Thursday on a score of 2-15 to 2-5. Jack Delahunty was always a threat and was ably assisted by Liam Duffy. Rob Houlihan and Conor Floyd were strong in defence. Our next game is this thursday away to Inane Rovers at 7pm.

Under 16 football
Our u 16's had a good win over Kildangan in the North semi last week and now look forward to appearing in a north 'A' football final for the third successive year. Good displays by Jack Delahunty, Corrie Mooney and Cian Flanagan.
