Newport Juvenile GAA Club.
The Juvenile Club will hold a Cake Sale in the Clubhouse, Lacken Park on Tuesday 3rd of June '14 at 7.30pm, in aid of Newport Gaels U14 team who recently won the Tipperary County Final in the Feile Peil Na nOg.  They are now representing our club and Tipperary in the All Ireland Finals in Galway in June.  The monies raised will go towards transport, gear and accommodation for the team.   We would appreciate donations of cakes which can be dropped from 5.30pm on the day of the sale and support on the day.

Tipperary GAA Clubs Draw 2014/15
The New draw is just around the corner, Make sure you're in with a chance to win great monthly and weekly prizes, and help support the Club and the County Teams. The Club had seven winners in the draw last year, and the money raised helped the club maintain its grounds and upgrade facilities as well as preparing teams to the highest standards.
Make sure you're in with a chance for the new draw. Please contact your promoter if you are an existing member of the draw, or contact the club draw Co-ordinator Martin Kennedy if you want to join for the first time. The first draw will take place at the end of May, so don't delay.

Under 8
Newport under 8's played Murroe on Tuesday evening in both hurling & football. We had 36 players in all, split into 3 teams. All our teams performed well on the night and are looking forward to the return matches in Newport shortly.   A special thanks to all the parents who took their children to the blitz, it is really appreciated.

Junior Hurling.
Our juniors recorded a good win over Portroe on Sat last but look set to loose out on a semi final spot due to score difference. Well done to all involved.

Best Wishes
Congrats to Newport's new councillor Fiona Bonfield, who is also the club registrar, on winning her seat for the new council. (Hard luck to our Club Treasurer who missed out)
Best of luck to Conor O'Mahony and all his Tipp team mates and management against Limerick next Sunday.
To all our members doing exams we wish you the very best of luck and hope you get the rewards you deserve.
