Peil na nÓg
Congratulations and Best wishes to the Newport Gaels under 14 football team who are representing Tipperary in Feile Peil na Nog on 27 to 29 of June in Connaught; Newport Gaels overcame a strong challenge from Ballina in the North Final and went on to beat Holycross in the county semi-final and Mullinahone in the County final. Car Wash.
On the 21st of June 2014 the Newport Gaels U14 team took part in a fundraising car wash in Sweeney's Shop and Garage Newport.  They were assisted by management and parents and the event was well supported helping to raise funds for their trip to the All Ireland Finals.    Thanks to all who supported it on the day and to Sweeney's Shop and Garage.  The very best of luck to the team this weekend in the finals.

Inter Hurling
Our hurlers suffered a 2 point defeat to Moycarkey-Borris on Sunday last in the county championship. Newport were missing a few key players but still a disappointing result.

Minor Hurling
Our first outing of the year in the minor 'A' championship is this Thursday away to Ballina. Please come along and support the team.
