Under 16
Newport Gaels got their hurling campaign off to a disappointing start with a loss at home to Eire Og Nenagh. Next game is at home to Kilruane. We had an enjoyable friendly away to Ahane last week.
Well done to Cian Flanagan, Kealan Floyd, Jack Delahunty and Corie Mooney who represented Tipperary in Waterford last Saturday.

Minor
Our minors played a challenge against Na Piarsaigh on Friday last. This was a good test and we came away with a victory.
Our next championship game is this Thursday against Nenagh in Templederry at 7.30pm.

Quarterfinals
The club will run a bus to Thurles for the quarter finals on Sunday next. Bus leaves Lacken Park at 11.45 sharp, Birdhill at 12.00.  Price is €10 for bus and match ticket. Contact Anthony Floyd @ 086-8070182. First come basis.
Good luck to Conor O'Mahony and his Tipp team mates against Dublin. Lets hope his injury clears up.

Under 14
Our under 14's played Burgess on Wed 16th last. This was a very tight encounter with Newport coming out on top with the score 3-8 to 1-12.
