Under 16
Our U16's are eagerly awaiting the outcome of the other Co Semi-Final this week between Commercials & Drom to see who they meet in the Co Football Final. At the moment the final is scheduled for next Mon (15th ) in either Dolla or Dundrum depending on the opposition.
Meanwhile we began the Nth hurling championship on Mon last in Cloughjordan v Kilruane. Lack of hurling practice militated against them, especially in the first half, and Kilruane had a comfortable win.

Minor Hurling
Our minor hurlers have begun the championship in earnest with two games played in four days. First up we were narrowly beaten by Nenagh at home and then on Wednesday we had a great win over Kilruane in Cloughjordan on a score of 3-16 to 2-11. Goals from Davy Gleeson, Pa Ryan & Daniel Delaney put the game beyond doubt. We have a free week this week and then await Roscrea, Kildangan Borrisoleigh, Borrisokane & Toomevara.

Gathering
Plans for the Tulach Sheasta GAA input into the Gathering are at an advanced stage. The parish celebration will begin on Fri 19th with a special Gathering Mass followed by a parade through the town. Then on Mon 22nd, there will be an evening of activity in Lacken Park with a host of underage games and novelty events. We will also have traditional music and several special guests. Full programme will be advertised next week.
