The Newport Ballad Group comprising of Brian McAuliffe, Conor,Kealan,Lorna & Ciara Floyd did the parish proud when they represented club and county in the All Ireland in Derry on last weekend. Competing at the highest level, they were narrowly pipped by the Mayo representatives in a tightly contested competition. Well done to all involved and no doubt the large travelling contingent had a great weekend nonetheless. Commiserations also to the Sean Treacy quiz team who were narrowly beaten and congratulations to Templederry who won the All Ireland novelt act competition.

Remember to support the club lotto each Monday night. Last week's winning numbers were 2,3,6 & 10. Next weeks jackpot will be €4,750.
