Last weeks numbers were 7,10,20 & 24 with no winner. Congrats to lucky dip winners Tom Moylan Jnr, Martin Burke, Lisa Mills, Kellie O Connell and Mike Boland.

Action returns to the schools in the Parish this week when St Marys U16's will play Pallaskenry in the U16 hurling final whilst training resumes in the Newport BNS every Thurs.

White Collar Boxing
A large crowd turned up to Ryans Bar last Friday night to view a recording of the recent Kings of Keeper event. This provided all the boxers, male and female, the opportunity  to review their performance. A DVD will be released soon.

Under 8
Our U8 squad travelled to Murroe last weekend where they split into two teams and each played two games. Newport did very well winning all their games.

Under 12
Having lost their two first football games, our U12's returned to winning ways with a fine two point win over Moneygall last week. This Friday they now meet Ballina in what should be a close game.

Under 14
Newport Gaels U14 footballers are at home to Shannon Rovers on Weds evening and should they win, they will qualify for the semis.

Under 16
Our U16's travel to Borrisokane this week when they play in a game that will decide the semi pairings. The semis are fixed fo next weekend.

Under 18
Newport Gaels minor footballers will play Ballina this Weds in Lacken Park and need a win to progress. They will then have a break until the exams are over

Under 21
Our U21 footballers now know that their Co Final will take place on the May Bank Holiday weekend versus Upperchurch/Drombane. Date & venue TBC

Junior B
Our Junior B Hurlers were beaten by Borriosokane in the North League last weekend by 4-15 to 1-11

Newport will play Gortnahoe/Glengoole in the first round of the Co Championship next Saturday in Drombane

Best to luck to our senior Ballad Group who travel to Derry this week end to participate the the All Ireland Scór final.
