Tulach Sheasta G.A.A. would like to express their deepest sympathy to the Floyd family on the death of Thomas Floyd R.I.P.  We would also like to express our deepest sympathy to the Ryan family Rossaree on the death of Margaret R.I.P. last week.
St. Mary's had a busy start to the new term in both hurling and football.  The long awaited Under 16½ final against Pallaskenry was their first outing.  After a shaky start, St. Mary's eventually came good and had a very comprehensive 4-9 to 1-5 win.  Unfortunately, the U14 footballers were not so lucky the next day, when they went down by 2pts to Askeaton. Mary's had no luck either in the U16 football when they were beaten by a much stronger Newcastlewest side.  However we would like to say well done to everyone involved in the promotion and playing of G.A.A. in the school.  Primary School coaching continues in Birdhill and Newport Boys School and we hope to re-commence in the Convent Primary this Wed.  Eddie Quigley led a very good coaching session in Lackamore on the last day before Easter holidays and we hope to have a few more visits to the school this term.
