Faoi 21’s: Hard luck to our Under 21B Hurlers who lost out to Kilruane MacDonaghs in the North Quarter Final on Sunday by 2-16 to 1-09. This group are now finished up for the year. We would like to thank the players, James Nolan and his management team for all the work they put in. It was really appreciated. Tadhg ag éirí as oifig: The club would like to wish Timmy Floyd the very best in his retirement from his role as County C.E.O. We are very proud of our club man’s tenure over the last sixteen years, and the history books will show that he served in one of the greatest eras of Tipperary hurling. The Inter County scene has advanced in a very positive and professional manner and Timmy played a vital role in that progress. We wish Timmy, Cora and their family the very best of great health and happiness in the next chapter. Míle Buíochas, Tadgh. Faoi 17’s: Hard luck to our Under 17A Footballers who were beaten in their County Quarter Final by Cashel by 2-10 to 1-08 on Saturday. This group are now finished up for the year. We would like to thank the players, and Paudge Tobin and his management team for all the work they put in this year. We would also like to thank the parents for taking the time to bring their children both to training & matches. It was really appreciated. Faoi 14’s: We would like to wish Cormac Shanahan, Conor McLoughlin and Kevin Fitzpatrick the very best of luck with North Tipp on Saturday in the final of the Roger Ryan Inter Divisional Tournament when they take on South Tipp in Toomevara. Faoi 13’s: We would like to wish Oisin Kennedy, Colm Ryan, Aaron Lane, Ollie Roche & Stephen O’Brien the very best of luck with North Tipp on Saturday in the final of the Peader Cummins Inter Divisional Tournament when they take on Mid Tipp in Borrisoleigh. Faoi 21’s: Well done to our Under 21B Hurlers who had a hard-fought win over Portroe in Round 2 of the North Championship on Sunday on a score line of 1-13 to 0-15. Faoi 17’s: Hard luck to our Under 17A Footballers who were beaten by Ballina in the North Football Final by 2-08 to 1-07 on Saturday. They now progress to the County Quarter Finals where they will play the winners of the West Championship. An féidir leat cabhrú?: Can you help? Our recruitment committee are actively seeking people to help with the day to day running of the club and are asking for a commitment of one hour per week. Your knowledge of the club is not necessary as mentoring will take place. Please contact any committee member or fill out the form on our social media platforms. Your help will be appreciated. A.G.M.: The club AGM will take place on Saturday November 26th in the club rooms at 7.30 pm. Nominations and motions have been sent to members. (Ballad Group) acts can be very proud of their performances at the All
Ireland Finals of the Senior Scor on Saturday, even if they did not win
ultimate honours. The groups were as follows: Faoi 21’s: Hard luck to our Under 21B Hurlers who lost out to Burgess in Round 1 of the North Championship on Sunday on a score line of 0-12 to 0-9. They are due to play their Round 2 match v Portroe in Lacken Park on Sunday @ 12:00 noon.
Faoi 14’s The under 14’s had a very exciting game in the North Hurling Plate competition v Burgess on Sunday morning which finished level. They are due to play Ballina in Round 2 on Sunday. An féidir leat cabhrú?: Can you help? Our recruitment committee are actively seeking people to help with the day to day running of the club and are asking for a commitment of one hour per week. Ballybrown & Na Piarsaigh. We would
like to thank Na Piarsaigh Club for the invite and for their hospitality on the
day. It was really appreciated. Comhbhrón: CLG Tulach Sheasta wish to extend our deepest sympathies to Eileen, John, Tim, Michael, Siobhan, Helen and the extended Coffey family on the recent passing of Michael. He was a lifetime supporter of both Newport & Tipperary GAA. Michael also wore the Mulcaire Rovers jersey during the 1950’s and acted as a selector. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam. |

Faoi 12’s: Congratulations to both our Under 12 A & D Hurling Teams
who won their North Plate Finals v Roscrea on Sunday morning. This ends their
competitive action for the year. We would like to thank manager Michael Coffey,
his mentors, and the players for all the work they put in this year. We would also like to sincerely thank the parents for bringing
their children to their training sessions & matches. It is really
appreciated. Training will continue each Tuesday & Friday evening. See pictures of the teams below. |
