Comhbhrón: CLG Tulach Sheasta extends sympathy to the bereaved families on the recent deaths of the following:
Charlie Small of Cully Newport. Charlie was a popular and widely respected member of the local farming community. He played hurling and football as a sturdy defender with Newport underage teams up to minor level. He was a quiet, unassuming and friendly person and will be missed by all who knew him.
Suaimhneas síoraí dá anam uasal.

Matthias Allen of Killeen, Newport. Thiasy was a hard-working and highly regarded member of the farming community. He played with Mulcaire Rovers hurling teams during the 1950’s and his death severs another of the few remaining links with the former club which was based at the Longhouse Field near his home.  Family, friends and neighbours will sadly miss a key figure of the local community.
