Club Lotto: CLG Tulach Sheasta is delighted to be able to announce that you can now play our Club Lotto online from this week. If you would like to play Club Lotto on-line please log onto our Facebook page or Club Website where you will be able to find details on how you can join. If you prefer, you can continue to purchase lotto tickets in Sweeney’s Shop each Friday evening from 3:30PM to 7:00PM or Saturday morning from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM.  We take this opportunity again to thank everybody who supports our club lotto which is the main fundraiser for the club.

The Road To Croker Fundraiser in aid of Newport Day Care Centre:  The club presented Carol O’Hora, Manager of The Day Care Centre with a cheque for € 5,000, which was raised by our senior hurlers in their recent Road to Croker Fundraiser.  We would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed so generously to this very worthy cause over the last month.

Sympathy: It is with saddened hearts that we learned of the passing of the late Mikie Ryan (Jim) R.I.P. father of Deirdre Malone, Michael (J) and Marie, father in law of Padraig and Alan and Uncle of our Club Treasurer Martin Kennedy. On behalf of everyone in C.L.G. Tulach Sheasta we extend our deepest sympathy to the Ryan, Malone and Kennedy families.
We were also sorry to hear of the passing last week of former player
Ger Hayes of Ballysimon, Limerick and originally from Freigh, Newport. Ger lined out with Newport under-age footballers all through the 1970's, culminating in assisting the junior footballers in 1979. He was a stylish and talented player and a quiet and unassuming character on an off the field. Our sympathies to the extended Hayes family.
Ar dheis Lámh Dé go raibh anamacha na mairbh go léir.
