Under 16’s: Our under 16 hurlers had a good win in their final group match in the North Championship v Ballinahinch / Temlederry and have now qualified for the Quarter Finals which are due to be played next Monday evening August 12th.

Under 12’s: Our Under 12 teams played their North Semi Finals last week with all teams putting in excellent performances. The Under 12 Group C Team beat Portroe in their semi-final by 7-04 to 3-07 and qualified for the North Final v Kilruane MacDonaghs which was played in Toomevara on Monday of this week.  Unfortunately, they had to give best to KilruanePlease on a 2-08 to 1-05 scoreline.  Our Under 12 Group D team lost out to Borris-lleigh by 5-02 to 3-04. The Under 12 Group B team lost out to Moneygall in their semi-final by 3-06 to 1-08. Well done to all teams. We would like to thank the management for all the work they put in with the children throughout the year & the parents who took the time to take their children to their games.

Under 10’s: The under 10 hurlers travelled to Sixmilebridge on Friday evening for a match & put in a great performance. A big thank you to Sixmilebridge for the invite & to the parents who travelled to support their children.

Under 7 & 8’s: The Under 7 & 8's welcomed Cappawhite and Newtownshandrum to Lacken Park last Saturday morning. The kids played some great hurling against some really strong opposition and did the club and their coaches proud. Thanks to both teams for making the trip to us and an even bigger thank you to our wonderful parents for providing sandwiches and treats for our visitors.
