Seniors: We would like to wish our Senior Hurlers the very best of luck in their final group match in he Seamus O'Riain Cup v Holycross/Ballycahill in Dundrum this Saturday @ 2:00 PM. Your support for the team on the day would be greatly appreciated.

Under 14s: Our second under 14 team played Portroe in the North 'C' Hurling Final on this Monday evening. After a close contest, they were unlucky to lose out on a 7-6 to 6-6 scoreline.

Under 13 Hurling Plate: Both of our under 13 teams were in action last week in the under 13 Plate. Unfortunalely despite putting in two great performances both teams lost out in the end. Our Group B team were beaten by Lorrha by 5 points & the Group C team lost to Kilruane by 2 points.

Under 11 Hurling Plate:  All three teams were in action last Thursday evening. The Group C team had a good win over Nenagh. The Group C Team got the better of Borrisoleigh in a thrilling encounter winning on a scoreline of 3-05 to 3-04. The Group D team lost out to Nenagh in what for the majority of players was there first competitive match in a Newport jersey.

Under  9’s & 10’s: hosted a blitz on Saturday morning in Lacken Park with teams from Kilruane & Doon taking part. All teams put in great performances & enjoyed their morning's hurling. A big thank you to both clubs for travelling & to the parents who helped out with the catering. It was really appreciated.

Under 7’s & 8’s:  Travelled to Cloughjordan for a hurling Blitz hosted by Kilruane. The children played some fantastic hurling and really enjoyed their morning. Thanks to Kilruane for the invite and hospitality after.

Sympathies: C.L.G. Tulach Sheasta would like to extend deepest sympathies to the Ryan (Lacken) family on the recent passing of Milo in Dublin. Ar dheis lámh Dé go raibh a anam.
