Under 10: Participated in a blitz in Kiladangan last Saturday morning. The boys had three great matches in the sunshine versus Silvermines, Borrisokane and Moneygall.
It was a great morning with 14 teams in total. Thanks to the organisers and well done to the Tulach Sheasta team on some great performances in the three games.

Under 12: Our Arrows team bowed out of the football championship in the North Semi Final against a very strong Silvermines team.  In poor conditions, we started the brighter and scored a great point directly from the throw in. Silvermines came back strong into the game and were leading 1-2 to 0-2 at half time. Tulach Sheasta started the second half really well and the game was level at 1-2 to 1-2 with 12 mins to go. Silvermines then scored some excellent points and finished the game strongly winning on a score line of 2-5 to 1-2.
Well done to the boys who played their hearts out. Best of luck to Silvermines and Inane Rovers in the final.

Under 14: Last Wednesday night our footballers played Burgess in a top of the table clash in Newport. Burgess started brightly and scored 3 points very early in the game. Newport settled in to the game and Sean Nolan reduced the deficit with a lovely point. Gavin Mellerick then scored a goal after a well worked forward movement to put us 1.1 to 3 points in front at half time. Burgess opened the second half scoring with a goal. Facing the breeze in the second half, Gavin Mellerick with a free and Tom Allen with a point from play levelled the match. Burgess added 3 points and looked to be coasting to victory but this Newport team never gave up. A brilliant block down and pass by Robbie Murray to Aidan Ryan ended up with Aidan dispatching the ball to the net to level the match.
Burgess then pressed hard for the winner but a great save by Keith Hogan and brilliant block downs by John Lee kept them at bay. Final Score Burgess 1.6 Newport 2.3. We now play Kiladangan in Kiladangan next Wednesday in our final group game
