Under 6,7 and 8’s: We hosted a blitz with teams from Kilruane MacDonaghs and Murroe joining us at Lacken Park, last Saturday morning. Over 130 players participated in a great morning of hurling and fun. We are very proud of all the players and thank the visiting clubs for being part of the blitz. We also thank the parents for being there and providing the refreshments.

Under 9: Our hurlers took part in the John Joe Nevin Tournament hosted by Ballina last Sunday. Well done to all the players who put in a great effort and used all the skills they have developed throughout the year in all their games. They won their two group matches v Clonlara & Ahane and went on to win a well contested final v Ballina. We would like to thank Ballina club and the Nevin Family for the invite & congratulations on a very well organised tournament. 

Under 10: Our players participated in the Killeagh Tournament last Sunday. Both our A and B teams reached the finals, in the group stages both teams overcame Naas, Lismore and Killeagh to top their groups. In the Division 2 final our B team lost out to Killmallock and our A team lost out to James Stephens (Kilkenny). Thank you to Killeagh G.A.A. club for hosting us and we look forward to inviting them to join us for a game in Newport.

Under 14: Our team were defeated by Kilruane in the North final last Sunday at Puckane. Final score Tulach Sheasta 1-07 Kilruane MacDonaghs 4-05.

Senior: Our hurlers suffered a heavy defeat to Templederry Kenyons last Saturday at Nenagh. Final score in the Seamus O’Riain Cup: Tulach Sheasta 0-17, Templederry Kenyons 3-26.
