Trip to Limerick: Last Sunday morning our U7, U8, U9, U10 Juvenile teams took part in a blitz in Na Piarsaigh GAA Club in Limerick. They all played three matches and performed really well. In all, we had 110 children supported by 82 adults at the Blitz. We had refreshments which were kindly provided by Na Piarsaigh Limerick, and then made our way to the Gaelic Grounds for the senior game. Everyone enjoyed a great club and family day out. The Limerick supporters in the club certainly had a great day. Thanks to everyone that helped in organising the event. Thank you to Brian Healy who organised the tickets for such a large group. Thanks to the parents and players for turning up and making it a great day out. A special thanks to Na Piarsaigh GAA for their hospitality and for running a great blitz. We look forward to many more great days out over the coming months.

Under 9s & 10s: played in a Blitz in Clonlara last Friday evening. The two teams played three great challenge matches against Clonlara in great conditions, they gave it a great team effort. Thanks to all the parents for their support on the night.

Under 14B Football Semi Final:  Newport 8-4 Kilruane 0-1.
Our footballers played Kilruane on Wed night last in Newport in the North U14B semi-final.
They played some lovely football and qualified to play Moneygall/Clonakenny in the North Final this Wednesday 23th in Portroe at 7pm. We would love to see a crowd from Newport to support the lads in the Final .

Junior: Best of luck to our Junior hurlers who play Lorrha/Dorrha in the North Championship this Saturday evening in Lorrha at 7.30pm. All support welcome

Date for Diary: Family Fun Day June 24th at Lacken Park. Lots of activities planned for all.
