Under 7s and 8s took part in the U-8 North Hurling Blitz at Kiladangan GAA club in Puckane last Saturday morning. Forty of our players played games against Kiladangan, Kilruane, Toomevara and Ballina. All teams played extremely well and had a very enjoyable morning. It was great to get the first blitz of the year off to a great start. Thanks to all the parents who travelled, and to Paudie Malone, North Tipp coordinator for organising the blitz and to Kiladangan GAA for hosting the games.

Under 10s won the North Football Final of Community Games last Wednesday night in Lacken Park. Final score Tulach Sheasta 5-7 to Ballina 2-3. Thanks to all the supporters who came along and supported the lads tonight. Well done to all the lads for such a brilliant performance. County final on May 12th.

Under 12: Our Colts played Ballina last Friday evening at Lacken Park in a thrilling North Football Semi-final. Despite being behind at half time, Tulach Sheasta put in a huge second half display to be level with 5 mins to go. Unfortunately, a stunning goal from Ballina decided the affair and despite the boys throwing everything at Ballina in the closing minutes, they were not able to get an equalising score. The coaches are very pleased with the ‘never say die’ attitude of this team.  Final score Ballina 3-2 to Tulach Sheasta 2-2

Our Dynamo team played out a nail biting North Football Quarter-final v Nenagh Eire Óg on Monday evening at Nenagh, but unfortunately lost out by the narrowest of margins to the hosts. The team showed great commitment and effort during the game and fought to the bitter end losing on a 0-4 to 1-0. Well done to all players and the supporters throughout the championship.

Under 21: Best of luck to our hurlers who will play Borrisokane in round 1 of the North championship on Bank holiday Monday in Lacken Park at 7pm.All support welcome.

Senior: Our hurlers were defeated by Kilruane last Sunday in the North championship quarter-final at Dolla. Final score Tulach Sheasta 0-11 Kilruane 1-19.
