Medal Presentation
On Friday night in Ryan’s bar, Cork Road we will celebrate title wins in the North championships 2015. Medals will be presented to our under 21 A footballers, our Junior B hurlers, our Junior A footballers and our intermediate hurlers. The club will also make a presentation to Conor O' Mahony to mark his huge contribution to Tipperary hurling as he retires from the County scene. Please join us for this happy occasion for the club.

Easter Camp
Newport Juvenile Club is running an Easter Camp from Tuesday 29th March to Thursday 31st from 10am to 1pm each day. Cost is €25 per child for the 3 days. Children must be aged 6 to attend. Registration will take place on the first day.

Fixtures
The U21 Footballers play Ballina on February 21st in the North under 21 A football final 2016 in Newport.
Intermediate Hurling: We now know our County championship group which includes Kilsheelan, Golden, Drom & Inch and Newport.  First round will be in April.

Membership
Registration Night for Newport Juvenile GAA Club will be on Sunday 14th February from 6:00 to 7:00 PM in then Clubhouse. Registration Fees for 2016 are Juvenile Player €40, Family of 1 Adult and up to 4 Children €100, Non Playing Adult € 25. All players must be registered to play.

reat evening’s entertainment was had in Birdhill community hall on Sunday 7th. Competitors from all our local schools participated in our Scór na bPáistí parish final. Well done to everyone involved and thanks to all the parents and mentors for getting the groups ready! Winners from the evening included: Birdhill NS set dancing group, Birdhill NS and Lackamore NS ballad groups, Birdhill NS and Lackamore NS instrumental music groups, solo singers Abbie Lenihan Lackamore NS and Leah Hogan Convent Primary School, recitations from Mollie O Hora Convent Primary and Martin McCabe Boys Primary, Novelty Acts from Newport and Lackamore NS and quiz teams from Boys Primary School and Convent Primary. These groups will go on to represent Newport in the area final which will be held on Sunday 21st February in Portroe. Go n-eirí an t-ádh libh!

 Tipp GAA Draw
Well done to Angela and Martin Coffey who won €500 in the Tipperary GAA January Draw. Also to Seamus Carew who won €200 in the lucky dip draw. Contact any member of Newport GAA to sign up now.

National Draw
It is now time to start returning National Club draw tickets. All books can be returned to James Nolan at Nolan Carpet and Blinds Clonbealy, Club Sec Mary Bourke, Stonehall or chairperson Padraig Tobin. Please remember that we need all books returned by Friday February 12th 2016.
